2008 Murfreesboro Half Marathon was presented the 4 Star Award representing the top program in the state by the Tennessee Parks & Recreation Association. Two state records were set last year, and the event continues to receive rave reviews by runners all over the country.
2009 The event was named “Favorite Event in Rutherford County” in The Daily News Journal Annual Ruthie Awards.
