Training
Whether you are a beginner or a competitive runner, proper training is the most important factor in preparing for a half marathon. Most half marathon training programs are approximately 3 months; you should have 4-6 months of running under your belt before starting your half marathon training.
Many of our sponsor and charity partners offer training programs specifically tailored for The Middle Half. If you are not a Murfreesboro resident, be sure to check out your local gyms and parks & recreation departments for possible half marathon training programs.
