Start at Greenland Drive near the Middle Tennessee State University Track and Soccer Complex. Ample parking close to the start.
Experienced and first-time racers like The Middle Half because the course is flat and fast.
The course has you running down tree-lined Main Street to Maney Avenue and the historic Oaklands Historic House Museum. Circle the Downtown Square, pass by MTSU’s Fraternity Row and the official geographic center of the great state of Tennessee, then finish on the track at MTSU.
Certification
The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council.
Elevation
The estimated elevation variation over 13.1 miles is only 41 feet.
Water Stations | Restrooms | Showers
Water/Aid Stations will be located approximately every 2 miles on the first half of the race and every mile the second half of the race. A sport drink will be available at most of the water stations.
Portable Toilets will be located in the Greenland Drive parking lot close to the starting line as well as along the course close to the water/aid stations. Additional restroom facilities are available inside the MTSU Track and Soccer Stadium.
Showers will be available after the race in the MTSU Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium; bring your own towel, soap, etc.
